Producing Quality Labels to Meet Your Company's Needs.

Types of Labels

AA Label is proud to provide labels to Pittsburgh area businesses as well as companies across the U.S. We print labels for grocers, wineries, distilleries, apiaries, manufacturers, marketing firms, and more!

We can customize any label to fit your needs.

COLORS:

We can make your labels any combination of colors you wish. Simpler designs like logos and text may require one, two, or three colors. We also print four color process labels which reproduce a complex original image, such as a photograph.

HOW FOUR COLOR PROCESS PRINTING WORKS:

Four color process printing (also called CMYK) is a system where a color image is separated into 4 different color values (called a color separation) by the use of filters and screens. The result is a color separation of 4 images that when transferred to printing plates and sequentially printed on a printing press with the colored inks cyan (blue), magenta (red), yellow and black (the k in cmyk), reproduces the original color image. Most of the entire spectrum or gamut of colors are reproduced with just the four process ink colors. The four color printing process is universally used in the graphic arts and commercial printing industry for the reproduction of color images and text.

THERMAL PRINTED AND UNPRINTED:

AA Label provides printed and unprinted labels that companies can use in their own thermal transfer printers. Thermal transfer printers use a carbon ribbon to transfer text, barcodes, or other markings onto compatible label material. Either paper or synthetic labels are available for use in your direct thermal or thermal transfer printer.

BAR CODES:

A bar code is the small image of lines (bars) and spaces that is affixed to retail store items, identification cards, and postal mail to identify a particular product number, person, or location. The code uses a sequence of vertical bars and spaces to represent numbers and other symbols. A bar code symbol typically consists of five parts: a quiet zone, a start character, data characters (including an optional check character), a stop character, and another quiet zone.
